Miles for Charity
Miles for Charity was an idea formed by two Lewis S. Mills High School sophomores in the fall of 2012. We (Cooper Smelski and Jackson Morrow) wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. We decided to organize the Just 2 Guys Charity 5K Race which took place on April 06, 2013 at Winding Trails in Farmington, CT. The money that we raised from the race benefited the Wounded Warrior Project. We felt strongly that the men and women who serve our country deserve our support. Also, being members and officers of the Lewis S. Mills High School Class of 2015, we wanted to try to help our classmates as well.
